Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Azure Data Engineering Infrastructure team to lead infrastructure services powering critical Azure Data products. The role owns end-to-end feature delivery, reliability, compliance, customer support, and the success of a team of engineers, while applying AI-first development practices and leading complex technical problems. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, at least 8 years of software engineering and product development experience, 8 years of experience shipping end-user software services or products, and 8 years of object-oriented programming experience in Java, C++, or C#. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, open-source software experience, continuous integration and flighting services experience, and experience with Service Fabric or Kubernetes.
