NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to participate in the full software development life cycle for innovative software systems used by Department of Defense customers. The role involves research, design, development, integration, deployment, and testing, with a focus on curating synthetic geospatial data in raster formats for simulation applications. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of software engineering experience, a Secret Security Clearance, and experience with C++, Python, software architecture, object-oriented design, test-driven development, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and containerization.
