Petco is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical guidance and support to a team of software engineers, develop scalable and maintainable software solutions, contribute to system architecture, participate in coding and code reviews, oversee testing, manage projects from requirements through delivery, and maintain technical documentation. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, at least five years of experience as a senior software engineer or in a similar role, programming expertise, and strong collaboration and leadership skills; web frameworks, cloud platforms, containerization, and distributed systems experience are preferred.
