Powerline is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build backend systems for renewable and battery storage optimization, including real-time market data pipelines, machine learning and optimization model integration, asset-performance dashboards, and infrastructure for AI agents. The role owns the full software development lifecycle, focuses on scalable and reliable production systems, and may involve distributed backend services, front-end interfaces, or AI-powered tooling. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience focused on large-scale real-time systems, strong Python skills, and experience with APIs, distributed systems, data pipelines, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
