Description
Protolabs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend pricing systems for its digital manufacturing marketplace. The role owns rate engines, discounting logic, billing integrations, APIs, data reliability, production troubleshooting, and CI/CD improvements, while partnering with Product, Finance, Sales, and Data teams and mentoring engineers. It is a fixed hybrid role on-site Tuesday through Thursday at Protolabs’ headquarters in Maple Plain, Minnesota, and requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least seven years of backend software engineering experience, and two years of pricing, billing, payments, or financial systems experience.
