Description

ResMed is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Global Data Platform Engineering team. This role involves designing, building, and operating scalable self-service platform capabilities that support analytics, data products, AI/ML workloads, and engineering productivity. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering fundamentals with deep expertise in platform engineering, cloud-native development, and modern data platforms.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of professional software or platform engineering experience building production-grade applications, platform services, or distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience building or operating enterprise-scale data platforms.
Experience with orchestration frameworks such as Airflow or Dagster.
Familiarity with streaming and event-driven systems using Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
Experience with modern data platform technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, or Delta Lake.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development lifecycle (AI-DLC) tools and practices to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
Familiarity with metadata management, governance, lineage, and data catalog concepts.
Experience with platform security, multi-tenancy, and enterprise-scale operational patterns.
Prior experience working in healthcare, regulated environments, or large-scale enterprise systems.
