Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Test for its Consumer Applications Test Team. The role owns testing strategy, execution, quality outcomes, and release confidence for consumer app products and platforms, including vehicle access, mapping, mobile applications, and cloud services. Responsibilities include defining test strategy, building automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, leading technical decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and improving test reliability. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of software test engineering experience, strong automation and CI/CD expertise, and proficiency in languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, Shell, or Rust.
