Roku is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain core features of the Roku OS Application framework, including software maintenance, testing, issue diagnosis, application services, and scalable service architecture. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, five years of progressive experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a related occupation, and at least one year of experience with C++, embedded Linux, Linux tools, API design, scripting languages, functional and integration testing, and object-oriented software design. The position may allow up to one day per week of telecommuting and offers a California annual salary of $306,000–$382,000, along with health insurance and other benefits.
