Description
Roku is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate core components of a large-scale, real-time distributed decisioning system for its ad-serving platform. The role owns features end-to-end, contributes to architecture and tooling, collaborates with product, applied scientists, and engineering teams, and helps diagnose timing- or statistics-related issues in a highly concurrent, multi-region system. The position requires extensive experience with low-latency distributed systems, Java, concurrency, caching, messaging, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud infrastructure, along with a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Roku generally works in the office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally flexible for remote work.
