Description
Roku is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality web applications and back-end services, improve system usability, quality, performance, and scalability, collaborate with UX and product teams, provide technical leadership, and support continuous deployment. The role requires a master’s degree in computer science or a related field plus two years of software engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressive experience, along with experience in web applications, REST APIs, JavaScript MVC frameworks, distributed-team mentorship, and scalable user interfaces and APIs. The role may allow up to one day per week of telecommuting and follows a Monday-through-Thursday office schedule, with California annual base salary of $324,700 to $425,000.
