Sedex is hiring a senior software engineer to join a multi-functional product delivery team and primarily build backend services in Kotlin, with occasional React.js frontend contributions. The role involves designing and delivering maintainable, secure, and reliable systems; collaborating with product managers and designers; supporting CI/CD, DevOps, continuous delivery, monitoring, and production operations; and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need at least five years of commercial software engineering experience, strong backend and testing expertise, knowledge of modern architectures and databases, and experience with AI coding assistants.
