Description
Shield AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop autonomy capabilities for satellites and missile defense applications, including distributed optimization, task allocation, weapons target assignment, motion planning, track fusion, and space vehicle behavior planning. The role owns software from design through deployment, collaborates with perception, planning, simulation, hardware, and flight-test teams, and supports integration into real space vehicles. Candidates need a relevant BS/MS or equivalent experience, 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, C++ and Python proficiency, robotics and unmanned-systems experience, simulation-tool experience, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance or higher.
