Description
Squiz is hiring a permanent Senior Software Engineer for its Discovery team to build resilient, secure, and cost-efficient cloud systems supporting conversational search and content intelligence. The role owns backend services, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, DevSecOps, CI/CD, FinOps, AWS infrastructure, and Generative AI workflows, while also mentoring peers and participating in architecture and code reviews. It requires at least five years of distributed-systems experience, strong AWS and Node.js/TypeScript skills, and is open to anyone living on the east coast of Australia under a flexible hybrid model.
