STR is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join its multidisciplinary cyber/networking team and lead the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of software for advanced real-time data communications and networking solutions. The role involves owning significant project components, guiding architecture, mentoring junior engineers, developing operational prototypes, and improving software quality and performance. Candidates need at least five years of relevant software engineering experience, proficiency in Python, C, C++, or similar languages, strong Linux and networking knowledge, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
