Tanium is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software products and systems across the full software development lifecycle. The role involves architecting secure and reliable solutions, collaborating with product and UX teams, leading code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, mentoring engineers, and improving engineering processes. The position follows a hybrid schedule requiring office work at least three days per week in Addison, Texas; Bellevue, Washington; Durham, North Carolina; or Emeryville, California. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience, 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience, distributed-systems experience, and proficiency in modern programming languages. The annual base salary is $191,000 to $293,000, with equity and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
