Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of software engineering experience designing, developing, and testing production backend, API, or data-infrastructure systems, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of features and components
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of information-retrieval fundamentals, including precision/recall trade-offs, hybrid search, and ranking
Experience building tools or APIs for agentic AI systems, including MCP or similar protocols
Background in legal technology, knowledge management, or other high-stakes information domains
Familiarity with search and retrieval engines such as Vespa, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch
Experience integrating AI services, including embedding APIs, re-ranking models, and RAG-supported retrieval
Familiarity with API gateways and content API security, versioning, and consumer exposure
Experience with agent and retrieval evaluation, including deterministic eval suites, gold data, prompt-injection red-teaming, and LLM workflow tracing
Working understanding of infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration, including Terraform, ECS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD optimization
