Tracer is hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer for its onsite Madeira, Portugal office. The role leads technical direction and architecture, builds and scales backend services with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, mentors engineers, and improves development processes including CI/CD and testing. It requires senior software development experience, distributed systems and microservices expertise, database knowledge, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The schedule is generally Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm, with flexibility for up to two remote days per week, and applicants should be currently located in Madeira or relocating within the next three months.
