Walker & Dunlop is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its WDTech R&D team to design and build scalable applications and services for its Loan Origination and Servicing platform. The role owns features end to end, architects the core Python, FastAPI, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes stack, improves performance and CI/CD practices, and mentors engineers. It requires at least six years of professional software development experience, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience, strong Python and backend API experience, and AWS containerized application experience; real estate finance or financial services experience is preferred.
