Description
Western Governors University is hiring an on-site Senior Software Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah, to design and own Playwright end-to-end test automation across React and Django repositories, integrate testing into CI/CD, improve WCAG accessibility compliance, and build AI tooling for engineering workflows. The role requires 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong Playwright or comparable test automation experience, accessibility testing and remediation expertise, TypeScript/React and/or Python/Django proficiency, CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS, and familiarity with Git/GitHub, APIs, authentication protocols, and relational databases. It is a full-time regular position with a salary range of $143,700 to $222,700 per year, benefits, and up to 20% travel.
