Description
WPP Open Intelligence is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own reliable backend services and API integrations in production. The role covers partner and internal APIs, orchestration and gateway components, authentication, rate limiting, retries, versioning, error handling, CI/CD, testing, observability, and production reliability. The engineer will work with Product, lead engineers, and teams across audience, data, and performance, while contributing to critical infrastructure and mentoring colleagues. The position requires substantial backend or API-focused experience, proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, or Java/Kotlin, and experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and production observability. The role is hybrid, with teams in the office around four days per week.
