Bitwarden is hiring a Senior II Software Engineer for its Auth team to develop and maintain authentication systems across web, desktop, browser extension, CLI, and mobile clients. The role focuses on the shared Rust core, Angular clients, IdentityServer, API back-end, password and SSO methods, passkeys, 2FA, and account management. Responsibilities include building authentication code, scoping initiatives, code reviews, bug triage, and dependency updates. The position is all-remote for candidates located in the United States, with a starting base compensation range of $140,000 to $200,000.
