Description

The Senior Engineer will help shape the technical foundation and domain architecture of an autonomous-platform operating system that coordinates drones, docking stations, edge systems, operators, and external systems. The role focuses on distributed systems, Command & Control, fleet orchestration, mission lifecycle management, real-time communication, operational modeling, telemetry, device interoperability, SDKs and APIs, and AI-assisted automation. Responsibilities include designing scalable, low-latency, resilient services; modeling entities, states, events, and workflows; building reliable messaging flows; integrating heterogeneous systems; improving observability; and establishing engineering best practices. The role requires strong production software experience, proficiency in Java, Python, or C++, and experience with distributed, event-driven, real-time, messaging, concurrency, networking, and state-management systems.
