Ginkgo Bioworks is hiring Senior Software Engineers for its Autonomous Lab software organization, which builds Catalyst, a software platform for laboratory automation, AI-enabled workflows, data APIs, scheduling, and infrastructure. Candidates may be considered for open positions across Agent Interfaces, Solutions Engineering, Orchestrator, Data Management, or Ops & Infra teams, with team-specific responsibilities and technologies. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, strong Python proficiency, and production software experience. It is a full-time, on-site Boston position requiring Monday through Friday attendance, with relocation assistance and no H-1B sponsorship.
