Aviary is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to architect and deliver robust backend infrastructure for its virtual cardiac care platform. The role owns specifications and tickets, collaborates with clinicians, operations experts, and care providers, balances speed and quality, and reports to the Head of Engineering. Applicants should have at least five years of experience building complex backend services and two years of technical leadership experience, with proficiency in a server-side language such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, or JavaScript.
