Description
Trulioo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the architecture and development of high-throughput, low-latency back-end services for its Document and Biometric Verification platform. The role designs and operates distributed, event-driven microservices; owns gRPC/Protobuf and REST/OpenAPI contracts; builds Apache Kafka streaming pipelines; manages distributed data and caching; orchestrates multi-step verification workflows; and optimizes performance, reliability, and concurrency. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering, requires 8+ years of back-end/server software experience, and is intended for a full-time permanent employee, ideally based in Vancouver on a hybrid schedule with remote arrangements possible.
