Ambient.ai is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to design, develop, and scale data storage and caching systems to petabyte scale, improve data-access latency, troubleshoot data infrastructure, and contribute to retrieval-augmented generation systems. The role requires at least five years of experience building scalable web services, expertise in databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and OpenSearch, proficiency in Python or C++, and experience with distributed data processing frameworks.
