Description
Dave is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to build and operate event-driven, asynchronous risk decisioning systems for its financial platform. The role involves designing TypeScript backend services, event-driven workflows, state machines, and scalable infrastructure; owning projects from design through production; participating in code reviews; and providing technical leadership and mentorship. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of software development experience, event-driven and cloud task experience, TypeScript or similar programming experience, MySQL and Google Cloud Platform experience, and strong system-design and communication skills. The position is virtual-first and open to employees living and working anywhere in the United States except Hawaii.
