Grab is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join its Mobility team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role owns the design, development, optimization, and review of critical backend systems serving millions of users, including distributed-systems architecture, scalable code, database and cloud infrastructure work, on-call incident response, and mentoring junior engineers. The position is onsite and requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least three years of distributed-systems experience, backend programming proficiency, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases and AWS.
