Grab is hiring an experienced backend engineer to join its Engineering team in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role involves designing backend components, collaborating with product and business teams, maintaining high-quality code, participating in technical and product reviews, supporting on-call operations, assisting with DevOps and infrastructure services, and mentoring peers. The position requires at least four years of relevant experience, proficiency in one or more programming languages including Go, distributed backend systems with SQL, NoSQL, and Redis, Agile experience, and English proficiency. The role is onsite at Grab's Jakarta office.
