Grab is hiring a Payments Core Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and data pipelines for its FundsCore Payments platform. The role involves software development, code reviews, troubleshooting, architectural decisions, observability, DevOps support, and mentoring, with mandatory on-call participation. It requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, at least five years of software development experience, distributed-systems and microservices expertise, cloud and DevOps experience, and proficiency in English. The engineer will report to a Senior Engineering Manager based in Singapore and work onsite at Grab's Ho Chi Minh City office.
