Mecka AI is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build and operate high-throughput backend systems for petabyte-scale video and sensor data used in robotics and embodied AI. The role owns architecture and reliability for production services, including upload and ingest, processing, indexing, retrieval, access control, APIs, distributed GPU compute, cloud networking, data movement, observability, incident response, and operational tooling. Candidates need at least seven years of backend or software engineering experience, strong system design and production-systems experience, and excellent debugging and operational judgment; experience building backend systems for video or media at scale is a strong signal.
