Navan is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) for its AI-first engineering team to architect and scale backend systems for a global corporate expense management platform. The role covers high-performance features and core services, payments and money ledgers, automated policy management, administrative controls, accounting integrations, and production support. Candidates should have 4–6 years of experience building complex systems, strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, AI integration experience, distributed systems and API design knowledge, cloud platform experience, and a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
