Oxford Dynamics is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Backend in London on a permanent basis to build scalable, secure backend systems powering AI and robotics products used in defence and national security contexts. The role focuses on Python and FastAPI backend architecture, REST API design, event-driven systems, PostgreSQL performance, security, testing, observability, and collaboration with product, engineering, and leadership. Experience with Palantir Foundry, Docker, Git-based workflows, and production operations is required, along with SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it (and later DV).
