Description
Perpay is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design and evolve RESTful APIs, own relational data modeling, improve backend reliability and observability, participate in distributed-system architecture, resolve production issues, and contribute to infrastructure and CI/CD. The role requires at least five years of experience building web applications at scale and two years leading technical teams and complex projects, with expertise in Python/Django, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, message queues, caching, and monitoring. The position is 100% onsite in Philadelphia and offers a base salary of $160,000 plus equity and a discretionary cash bonus.
