Affirm is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to own quarterly engineering goals, lead engineers through ambiguous problems, collaborate with product, design, and analytics, support operations and on-call reliability, establish code and design standards, and develop team talent. The role requires at least four years of software engineering experience, backend systems expertise with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes, front-end application experience, and strong communication skills. It is remote-first from Poland, with a base pay range of 308,000–428,000 zł and additional equity and benefits.
