Affirm is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Growth Platform Engineering team to design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, data models, and experimentation frameworks that support customer acquisition, engagement, and personalization. The role involves project prioritization, cross-functional collaboration with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams, engineering best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting on-call operations. Candidates need at least six years of backend software engineering experience, strong distributed-systems knowledge, production delivery experience, cloud and experimentation-platform experience, and familiarity with event-driven architectures. The position is remote for candidates residing in specified Canadian provinces and offers a base pay range of CAD 153,000–213,000 per year, with medical, dental, and vision coverage.
