Appier is hiring a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable, high-performance backend services for real-time ad recommendation, data serving, and core ad-tech infrastructure. The role owns technical roadmaps, optimizes databases and network architecture, improves observability and incident response, collaborates with product and data teams, maintains code quality, mentors junior engineers, and participates in on-call rotation. Candidates need 3–5+ years of backend development experience, proficiency in Go or Python, distributed-systems expertise, database and API knowledge, DevOps familiarity, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
