Description
Appier is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Backend Development for its Enterprise Solution Engineering Team, Product Recommendation (ES REC). The role owns sizable engineering projects, designs and operates AI agents and agentic workflows, builds machine learning pipelines, and develops scalable cloud-native recommendation systems using services such as GKE, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. Responsibilities also include CI/CD, system architecture, code reviews, mentoring, observability, performance tuning, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires at least five years of software development experience, proficiency in Python or Go, web-service and API design knowledge, and familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
