Description

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Platform Core Automation team to build and operate AI infrastructure and agentic systems that automate customer support and compliance operations. The role owns LLM orchestration, production deployment, monitoring, Python and Golang backend infrastructure, model integration, guardrails, grounding, data pipelines, and end-to-end project execution. It requires at least five years of software engineering experience, production microservices experience, and hands-on experience with LLM-based or agentic AI systems. The position is remote-first with quarterly in-person surges and offers an annual base salary of $186,065 to $218,900 USD, plus potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
