Description
Mimecast is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with backend specialization for its Governance, Compliance & Insights team to build and maintain high-performance Java APIs and cloud-native backend services on AWS. The role focuses on distributed, event-driven systems, RESTful APIs at scale, CI/CD, observability, and production support, and requires 9+ years of backend engineering experience, strong Java and AWS expertise, and familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and AI-assisted development tools. The position is based in a hybrid work model with at least two days per week in the office.
