Valency Systems is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to report to the Head of Engineering and own critical backend systems, distributed infrastructure, data pipelines, integrations, reliability, security, and compliance. The role requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, deep backend expertise, strong programming and cloud skills, and a track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction. The position is hybrid in Berkeley, California, with in-person work three days per week and two days of remote work.
