Bitsight is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Big Data) to architect and operate large-scale data pipelines for its Security Ratings product. The role involves ingesting security intelligence, aggregating terabytes of data, integrating new data sources, improving the rating algorithm, and collaborating with data science and research teams. It requires prior experience with large-scale data pipelines, strong Java programming, computer science fundamentals, and teamwork; Python, Hadoop, Spark, data lakehouse, Elasticsearch, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and IT security experience are preferred. The position is remote for United States applicants, with Boston or Raleigh preferred, and offers a base salary of $135,000 to $150,000 annually plus bonus, commission, equity, and benefits.
