Lithic is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Card Authorization team to build reliable, secure, and scalable real-time authorization and fraud-prevention systems. The role involves developing customer-facing features, improving system reliability, participating in on-call rotation, and leading projects from planning through launch. Candidates should have at least four years of production backend experience, experience or interest in Rust and payments or fraud prevention, and be comfortable working in a remote, async-first team. The position is remote for eligible candidates in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic, with an annual US salary range of $160,000 to $200,000 plus equity.
