Description
SkyGrid is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Architect) to lead the design and ownership of scalable, secure, and mission-critical cloud architectures for autonomous flight and advanced air mobility systems. The role involves cloud topology and trade studies, software architecture design, safety and certification validation, integration with avionics and embedded systems, secure DevSecOps pipelines, and coordination with government and regulatory stakeholders. It requires at least seven years of software engineering experience, five years of cloud architecture experience in highly technical or aerospace environments, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and DO-178C experience. The position reports to the Certification Software Engineering Manager, prefers a hybrid workplace, but can be fully remote.
