Bloomberg is hiring a Senior Software Engineer on its Cloud Stability team in New York. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the reliability, availability, automation, performance monitoring, CI/CD, and capacity management of the Bloomberg Cloud Compute private cloud platform. The engineer will work primarily with Python, OpenStack, Ansible, Airflow, Flask, Ceph, Unix, and distributed systems, while collaborating with Compute-Storage teams and contributing to open-source projects. A bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technology field and at least four years of software development experience are required.
