Starburst is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Connectors to design, develop, and maintain connectors for its Trino, Starburst Enterprise, and Starburst Galaxy platforms. The role focuses on improving query performance and correctness, collaborating with globally distributed teams, conducting code reviews, and providing customer support. Candidates should have distributed systems and Java experience, software engineering best practices, autonomy, and a strong commitment to software quality. The role is based in Starburst’s Boston office on a hybrid schedule with 1–2 onsite days per week and requires 25% in-person travel.
