Google is hiring a software engineer for its Core team to build and maintain the technical foundations behind its products. The role involves writing, testing, designing, deploying, debugging, and improving software; participating in design reviews; reviewing other developers’ code; contributing documentation; and triaging product or system issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, three years of software product experience, and one year of software design and architecture experience.
