Description
Coinbase is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Core Infra Systems team within the Platform group. The role owns cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, and networking, builds self-service tooling and paved-road defaults, partners with Compute, Infra Security, Routing, and other infrastructure teams, and leads technical investigations and operational improvements. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, including three years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP, along with cloud networking, infrastructure-as-code, backend programming, and cross-team leadership experience. The position is remote-first with quarterly in-person surges and offers an annual base salary of $186,065 to $218,900 USD, plus potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
