Microsoft’s AI Gateway Team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - CoreAI to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed services and developer tools for AI applications. The role covers system architecture, high-quality coding, implementation and deployment, reliability and incident response, engineering tools, product strategy, and cross-team collaboration. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience is also accepted. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
