The role focuses on building and supporting data ingestion, storage, transformation, streaming, and distribution systems for tick, timeseries, reference, and alternative datasets across legacy and modern on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The position requires strong Python, SQL, Linux, Docker, and relational database experience, plus 5+ years in Software Engineer or Data Engineer roles, with financial industry experience; the team works on ELT pipelines using Python, Snowflake, and dbt, builds a streaming platform, supports Java live data feedhandlers, and helps consolidate legacy MATLAB systems onto a cloud-native stack.
